Ferrari sent shockwaves from Italy a few days ago that have not yet died down… with people still going “What the hell is that?”

t’s fair to say the reveal of the Ferrari Luce (pronounced loo-chay and meaning “light”, as in illumination) has sparked fierce debate online. A more millennial way of putting it would be that the car blew up the internet.
The Italian brand’s first electric car was always going to be controversial, but it’s likely Ferrari wasn’t fully prepared for the animus directed its way, largely aimed at the car’s styling.
The most stinging attack must have come from the former chairman Luca di Montezemolo, 78, who said that it’s a car so unappealing even the Chinese wouldn’t copy it. Most of those commenting online felt the same way, and the market reacted accordingly, with Ferrari’s market value dipping by up to £4 billion the day after its unveiling.
The timing is interesting… because Ferrari is in Italy which is a leg…
…and Ferrari is a dark horse via its logo.

(Golden) Apple… like the tech company Apple where Jony Ive became famous for his iconic product designs. The same guy (no longer at Apple) most responsible for the intensely controversial design of Ferrari Luce.

…who will headline the US World Cup opening ceremony on June 12…
…coinciding with the release of Disclosure Day.
Should be interesting to see what happens around the beginning of June, potentially triggering/foreshadowing what will follow later in the month.
P.S. Don’t forget about another big “dark horse” event coming up this summer (July) in the form of the Trojan Horse in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
