The biggest A.I. event since the release of ChatGPT has just taken place, called DeepSeek, currently sending huge shock waves around globe… from China.

This is A.I.’s “Sputnik moment” i.e. comparable to an event that supercharged the Space Race between the Soviet Union and the United States (ultimately won by the US). In other words, it’s ON.
This is exactly the type of thing that dramatically accelerates the arrival of the “future” per my post “The future can’t wait” which was my assessment of the pattern underlying this period and its direction.
What DeepSeek has just managed to do, out of nowhere, is their A.I. model is suddenly almost equal in capabilities to OpenAI’s best models after spending only 2 months and only 6 million dollars which is like pocket change. DeepSeek’s models are extremely efficient and it is now the most popular free app, replacing ChatGPT.
This basically means the American tech giants just saw their moats shrink drastically, the progress of A.I. will speed up drastically, AGI and ASI will arrive much sooner, and… the end of history will come much sooner than it would have.
“Stargate” announced by Trump on January 21st was a big A.I. kaboom.
DeepSeek‘s A.I. kaboom came only days later (though its’ been available since December).
It’s ON.
This is how “the future arrives” quickly. Remember, the future can’t wait…
P.S. DeepSeek’s latest model is called “Janus-Pro”. Janus is the god doors/portals/stargates.
