This is the period of the “weighing of the heart” of America… This is a critical time for the nation and the world. Rebirth… or a path to hell.
It’s the Dog Star Sirius being reborn via heliacal rising, now taking place everyday somewhere in the United States (and other places on the same latitude) as it moves northward about 1 degree latitude a day.
Here on STR we have been very clear since before summer about its significance and the level of impact from it…
Form July 15 “War of the phoenix – Part 3“:
This “heliacal rising” is a major “rebirth” moment when the night sky’s brightest star re-emerges from the glare of the Sun over the pre-dawn horizon after months of invisibility metaphorically lurking in the underworld (dead).
The significance of this cannot be overstated especially in this year of the phoenix. As we noted in Part 2 Sirius and the phoenix are interchangeable. Hence:
Heliacal rising of Sirius = resurrection of the phoenix.
Kaboom…

And here we are, the Dog Days commencing as Sirius starts emerging out of the glare of the Sun shortly before sunrise. And things are set to go… kaboom? […]
So… yes, August is coming and it’s about to start…

Where are we now in the deep impact sequence of the Dog Days?
Around August 4 was/is a key moment in the context of ancient Egypt (inseparable from Sirius), marking the heliacal rising of the star at the latitude of Giza/Cairo (30N) which is also roughly the southernmost latitude of the US main land (excluding areas like Florida protruding further south).
We saw what happened.
Now we are sliding into another equally intense window marked by the main axis of Paris (Axe historique)…
…which, remember, aligns with the rising of Sirius everyday. (And Paris of course is where we had the earlier deep impact event of the Notre Dame inferno back in April).
Technical astronomical notes:
- The Sun’s rising angle constantly changes along the horizon (due east on the equinoxes) whereas the angles of stars such as Sirius do not change throughout the year.
- While Sirius’ rising angle does not change, its rising time shifts throughout the year, therefore it is only on one specific day of the year that Sirius rises heliacally just before sunrise.
- The timing of the Sirius heliacal rising depends on the latitude; in the Northern Hemisphere generally speaking the more north you go the later the date.
It will be around August 21-22 that Sirius will be reborn (heliacal rising) in Paris, coinciding with a major conjunction at the “heart of the lion” Regulus in Leo which is another major time marker we’ve been stressing all year. (This is the exact same location and anniversary of the 2017 Great American Total Eclipse.) This could be marking a peak of the American “weighing of the heart” and… well, let’s hope for a courageous rebirth out of the dark night of the soul.
August 6-9 is also the anniversary of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki nuclear attacks by America. The relevance of this is amplified by the continuing/intensifying “nuclear” theme we’ve been seeing this year.
On August 10-11 we’ll have an “Ozlantis” event in Australia in the form of “Return to the Gate: Atlantis Rising“

And then on August 13-14 we’ll have Venus at superior conjunction i.e. an Earth-Sun-Venus heliocentric alignment (in other words, Venus behind the Sun as seen from Earth). This will officially mark the end of the Venus’s Morning Star or “Lucifer” phase and sets the stage for its rebirth as the Evening Star a few days later. Given the significance of all things “Lucifer” this year, this automatically represents a key window.
So as you can see, it will basically a non-stop action for a while this month. We’ll keep monitoring and updating as we go deeper into the Dog Days from hell…
