Eye of Ra

It appears Katy Perry’s current tour Witness: The Tour in support of her latest album Witness (2017) has some “Stargate” things in it judging by the photos I got to see thanks to reader Heather whose friend’s daughter recently went to her concert.
Shortly before the show begins, the stage’s eye-shaped screen displays a video of Perry’s eye for a few moments. The eye transforms into a galaxy and a journey through outer space is shown, leading to a red-colored planet. The screen opens to reveal Perry riding upon a star-shaped structure, wearing a bejeweled and hooded red outfit with sunglasses.

The iris in the eye…

…representing a Stargate.

Indeed a wormhole from the movie Interstellar was shown inside the eye to underscore the connection.

As you can see, identical to the Interstellar wormhole:

The eye…

…with a wiggly line coming out of it (the stage)…

…is also the Eye of Horus/Ra from ancient Egypt.

The Eye of Ra is repeatedly shown in the film Stargate (1994) and is quietly an important component of the story.

You may also recall the Eye of Ra/Horus interacting with NASA’s Deep Impact mission via its mission patch:

Katy Perry herself flashed the Eye in her music video for Dark Horse.

It’s all very ancient Egyptian.

And in that context it’s also quite clear that the wiggly line from the eye is a tear…

…representing the Nile. In ancient Egypt it was thought the mourning tears of Isis caused the annual flooding of the Nile. Celestially this was expressed by the coincidence of the heliacal rising of Sirius – the star of Isis – coinciding with the onset of the inundation.

Sirius is known as the “Dog Star”. And it just so happens that the Chinese Year of the Dog will soon start on February 16, 2018 right in the middle of the PyeongChang “Stargate” Olympics and the day after the debut of Stargate Origins (Feb 15).
