Another Omen add to the mix was the Costa Concordia accident.
Costa Cruise Lines is a subsidiary of Carnival Cruise Lines and is based in Genoa, Italy, which is also the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
The ship sank / capsized off the coast of Italy on January 13th, 2012. January 13th is New Year’s Eve on the Julian calendar and in the movie Poseidon Adventure the earthquake leading to the tsunami took place on New Year’s Eve.
Inevitably evoking the Titanic also…
…April 15 (1912) – same date as the Notre Dame inferno.
Plus, regarding New Year’s Eve/Day… it’s a time threshold where the end and the beginning coexists together:
P.S. A little note about “Hellier” discussed in Contact Initiation: If you don’t have enough time to binge watch both seasons, I’d say you can skip season 1. Whereas season 1 is slow-moving and subtle, season 2 is where things start to come alive, at times enough to have you at the edge of your seat.
