“Right in dream”

From reader Noctu concerning the word “palindrome“:
I’m a native Dutch speaker. The Dutch word ‘palindroom‘ has the same meaning as the English word ‘palindrome’.
The official Dutch pronounciation is [ ‘p aː . l ɪ n . *d r oː m ]. In a few dialects and Flemish (the Dutch spoken in Flanders, Belgium) you pronounce it as [ ‘p ɑ . l ɪ n . *d r oː m ]. That’s how I pronounce it. If you say it like that, it sounds just like “pal in droom“, or “right in dream“.
It made me think of being in the middle of a dream, and then by association, waking up out of it (‘The Matrix’, ‘Inception’ …).
