In Netflix’s time travel drama “Travelers” (2016-2018), a group of humans known as “travelers” under the guidance of an A.I. “Director” transfer their consciousness back in time to the 21st century. Their mission is to change history… by preventing an asteroid from hitting earth, an event that they know would begin the “fall” of their/our civilization.

The asteroid is called “Helios 685“.

“Helios 685” (season 1 episode 6 – Nov 21, 2016):

Travelers transfer into a cult preparing for mass suicide. MacLaren’s team, the cult, and many other travelers, including senior engineer Bloom, meet at the antimatter facility. Bloom reveals that the future has been subtly rewritten and is not as united as it once was. Dosed with antitoxin, they release a toxic cloud to force a local evacuation. […] Using the antimatter to power an x-ray laser, the travelers intend to deflect asteroid Helios 685, saving millions of lives and preventing the environmental catastrophes and devastating wars that led to their dark future. Deflecting Helios has been the Director’s main goal, even though it could possibly prevent the travelers’ own births in the future.

“Toxic cloud”… “Helios”… “dark future”. You know where this is going.

“Helios” is the name of an ancient Greek god of the sun… just like “Samson” meaning “sun” which is another fictional doomsday asteroid in Salvation discussed in our “Atlas Revelation” series. (Note the time overlap: Travelers 2016-2018, Salvation 2017-2018.)

Sun… corona… coronavirus.

Is this the starting point of the fall of our civilization? The beginning (genesis) of the final dominoes falling?

We know coronavirus is “the Kick” and the definition of the Kick is essentially the end of reality as we know it, the end of the world as we know it. So yes, the storyline fits perfectly. If you look around, you can see that things are getting surreal, apocalyptic and moving like falling dominoes.

It’s time…
