December is here, a big month for Christianity and the Pope who will visit Corsica on December 15th, two days before his 88th birthday and 10 days before Christmas.

…because, remember, the “great King of Angolmois” is not only an allusion to Trump but also a direct reference to King Francis I (reign 1515-1547), the namesake of the current Pope, who was literally a “great king of Angolmois” or Angoulême, the capital of Angoumois (= Charente) in France, during Nostradamus’ time.

Pope Francis will visit Corsica’s capital Ajaccio, a name that can etymologically mean “good luck“.
Several hypotheses have been advanced as to the etymology of the name Ajaccio… [An] explanation, supported by Byzantine sources from around the year 600 AD called the city Agiation which suggests a possible Greek origin for the word, agathè could mean “good luck” or “good mooring” (this was also the root of the name of the city of Agde).
Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.
Ajaccio also happens to be the birthplace of Napoleon whom Nostradamus is popularly thought to have considered the 1st Antichrist.
So… that ominous theme is still whispering.

Pope Benedict’s exit coincided with a terror from the sky quite literally in mid February 2013 (just 4 days apart), if you recall:
Only a month later came the rise of Pope Francis…
…in effect “bringing back to life the great King of Angolmois” i.e. a symbolic return of the namesake King Francis I.

The “1999” quatrain is seemingly becoming more relevant today than it did back in 1999. Who knew? Certainly not anyone outside of STR.
Even in the context of Pope Francis, things remain quite apocalyptic as, based on the Prophecy of St. Malachy (regardless of authenticity), the pope(s) immediately following Pope Benedict XVI would be “Peter the Roman”, the one that seems to signify the final pope.
In recent times, some interpreters of prophetic literature have drawn attention to the prophecy due to its imminent conclusion; if the list of descriptions is matched on a one-to-one basis to the list of historic popes since publication, Benedict XVI (2005–13) would correspond to the second to last of the papal descriptions, Gloria olivae (the glory of the olive). The longest and final verse predicts the Apocalypse:
In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit. Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus, quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & judex tremendus judicabit populum suum. Finis.
This may be translated into English thusly:
In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop]. Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.
Several historians and interpreters note the prophecy leaves open the possibility of unlisted popes between “the glory of the olive” and the final pope, “Peter the Roman”. In the Lignum Vitae, the line “In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit.” forms a separate sentence and paragraph of its own. While often read as part of the “Peter the Roman” entry, other interpreters view it as a separate, incomplete sentence explicitly referring to one or more popes between “the glory of the olive” and “Peter the Roman”.
