Decoding Super Bowl LX

So that was the Super Bowl (Feb 8) and Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
What I wrote right after the Olympic opening ceremony:
Already done quite a bit of decoding [of the Olympic opening ceremony] (it’s fascinating) and I’ll try to write Part 1 before the Super Bowl (Sunday) and it’ll be interesting to see if there’s going to be any kind of interaction.
Well, sure enough, the Super Bowl halftime show did underscore the key theme we had discerned in the Olympics (see “Decoding Milan-Cortina Olympics – PART 1“).
Westworld hinted again on Sunday then? As a matter of fact, yes it was.
First, Bad Bunny’s show reached a climax with a “parade of the Americas” at the end where he named all nations in South America, Central America, North America, and the Caribbeans.
Essentially the Western Hemisphere as in… “Westworld“.
Second, as soon as the show triumphantly concluded with that “Westworld parade”, a string of commercials kept mentioning one thing: Artificial intelligence! It was relentless. If I’m remembering this correctly, the very first commercial that ran immediately after the show was one with robots as you can see below, very much evocative of Westworld.

There was a concentration of A.I. ads right after the halftime show and you could tell, especially if you were multicontextually aware, that it was key part of the “halftime message”.
Third, the halftime show was notable for its remarkable recreation Puerto Rico inside the stadium. The audience was in effect transported to another part of the world. A fake reality…
…just like Westworld – a show all about about visiting a carefully orchestrated fake world, populated by A.I. humanoid robots.
Fourth, Lady Gaga was a guest performer.
