The Shape of Hell

You know you are on the right track when multiple themes and patterns begin to merge and unify. And here we have a big one, involving The Shape of Water and Hellboy…
They were both directed and co-written by Guillermo del Toro, so in that sense already connected. But here they really begin to merge and tell a more complete story, a story that conforms to our unique interpretation of these movies which stressed the significance of the whole Merovingian “Grail bloodline” theme involving the idea of fish-human love and echoing the Nephilim alien-human hybrid race.

The Shape of Water revolves around a humanoid amphibian (fish man) kept in a water tank in a secret US government laboratory…

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) revolves quite a lot around a psychic and highly intelligent humanoid amphibian “Abe” living in a secret US government facility.

Like The Shape of Water, Abe falls in love with a human female…

…a princess.
That extra detail is key as it directly connects the fish-human love story to our Merovingian interpretation. Remember, the Merovingians were named after Merovech whose mother was a queen and the father was supposedly a sea monster.
Her brother is the main antagonist in the story and they both have long hair, again resonating with the Merovingians who were called the “long-haired kings”.

Like the Merovingians and their theorized “Grail bloodline”…

…they too belong to a very ancient royal family of elves headed by a king whose special crown – resonating with the Holy Grail – made him in charge of an indestructible, mechanical “golden army”.

After the king decided the crown and the army were too dangerous, had to be locked away, and humbly agreed to a truce with humans, the angry prince went into exile and would one day return for his people…

Can you say “King Arthur“?
In this movie Abe the fish-man does not have sex with the princess. But the storyline does get told via two substitutes, Hellboy and his girlfriend Liz. Not coincidentally it is Abe who first discovers Lis is pregnant.

So it’s all much more obvious now. Clearly del Toro is telling the same story via many of his movies and particularly this year (2018), with The Shape of Water winning best picture at the Oscars, his story – the “Merovingian” story – has emerged as the story driving world events just under the surface of reality.
The Merovingian story also pertains to the Nephilim, Superman, and the ET-human interbreeding program which appears to be at the heart of the “Disclosure” currently underway.

Sure enough, “Disclsoure” is part of Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The existence of the non-human creatures including Hellboy and Abe is publicly exposed near the beginning of the movie and it becomes a key backdrop for the rest of the story.

So… yes, we are definitely on the right track. The story will continue into summer and beyond, and we will keep watching from our unique perspective here on STR.
P.S. “Shape of Water” = Ring of Fire (“shape of Pacific Ocean”)…

Hawaii in the middle…

…erupting in May 2018.

Rising out of the underworld or “hell”… The birth of Hellboy.
