The Shape of Stargate

The Shape of Water, by director Guillermo del Toro, was released back in December and is unquestionably one of if not the most well received movie of the past year.
At the 90th Academy Awards, the film received a leading 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress for Hawkins, Best Supporting Actor for Jenkins, and Best Supporting Actress for Spencer. It also won for Best Director and Best Original Score at the 75th Golden Globe Awards, on top of five other nominations. At the 71st British Academy Film Awards, the film received 12 nominations, including Best Film, and won three awards, including Best Director.
Guillermo del Toro also directed the original Pacific Rim (2013) discussed in our previous article Interdimensional Breach.
A novelized adaptation of The Shape of Water co-written by del Toro will be released on February 27th and Pacific Rim Uprising, a sequel by a different director, is coming out on March 23th. The 90th Academy Awards where The Shape of Water is a big favorite is scheduled for March 4th in Los Angeles.

The temporal entanglement points to something else that’s common to both The Shape of Water and Pacific Rim…
The Ring of Fire.
The term “Pacific Rim” refers to the lands around the Pacific Ocean touching the Ring of Fire.
And is the Ring of Fire not literally the shape of the Pacific Ocean, i.e. the “shape of water”?
Plus, both movies are centered around alien water creature(s). Kaiju monsters in Pacific Rim and a humanoid amphibian in The Shape of Water.
As above, so below: The Sun will start its annual trek through the region right above the sea monster (or whale) constellation Cetus around the March equinox, precisely when Pacific Rim: Uprising will be released (March 24).
In both Pacific Rim and The Shape of Water we see the creature(s) escape their original realm. The kaiju enter our world via the “Breach”, an interdimensional portal under the Pacific Ocean. The amphibian creature in The Shape of Water escapes its prison after getting captured.
This ties back to the Stargate theme. The Stargate is a ring like the Ring of Fire, and indeed… watery. It’s literally a “water gate”.
So the pattern is unmistakable and we are left to ponder its implications… Is “it” coming and how soon? Perhaps we’ll find out more in March-April when the Sun energies Cetus the sea monster.
