Decoding Super Bowl LII – Part 2
Written by Goro, February 25, 2018
Ready to shift your mind into warp drive? Well, put your brain helmet on then, because we are in for a wild ride…

So in Part 1 we saw that during the Super Bowl itself the Stargate was expressed through the tesseract (see Part 1)…

But there was something else, something much more in your face that started as soon as the Super Bowl ended.

No one knew this was coming until a surprise trailer during the Super Bowl announced that The Cloverfield Paradox – the third Cloverfield movie – would be released on Netflix immediately after the big game. (It was supposed to be released on April 20 – Hitler’s birthday & cannabis day.)
Cloverfield… Super Bowl… You could just sense it. This was a big set up for a big signal.
Sure enough, The Cloverfield Paradox turns out to be all about interdimensional travel and alternate realities. In fact, the original script had the title “God Particle” in obvious reference to the Higgs boson and CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s most powerful particle accelerator.

In The Cloverfield Paradox the particle accelerator is up in space in a space station called “Cloverfield” orbiting around the Earth, conducting experiments considered too dangerous to be carried out on the planet in the year 2028. The experiments are all done in the hope of ending a global energy crisis befalling human civilization by achieving an overunity infinite energy production process. And eventually they do succeed but with the unexpected side effect of the crew on the space station suddenly finding themselves in an alternate reality/timeline. The energy unleashed by the machine evidently disrupted the spacetime continuum. Chaos ensues in a way a bit similar to the 1997 space horror movie Event Horizon.

You tear a hole in the fabric of spacetime and you open the Gates of Hell. As Mark Stambler, the author of The Cloverfield Paradox in the story, warns near the beginning:

That accelerator is 1000 times more powerful than any ever built. Every time they test it, they risk ripping open the membrane of space-time, smashing together multiple dimensions, shattering reality, and not just on that station – everywhere. This experiment could unleash chaos, the likes of which we have never seen. Monsters, demons, beasts from the sea… And not just here and now… In the past. In the future. In other dimensions.
His words soon prove prophetic as a successful test does end up unleashing kaiju monsters on earth quite similar to those in Pacific Rim (context: Interdimensional Breach). It’s worth noting that in both movies the monsters emerge from the ocean and in both the monsters enter our world through an interdimensional portal.
The implication seems to be that this incident on the space station is where it all began, the temporal epicenter. This is where and how the monsters entered our reality, backwardly manifesting all the earlier monster events in the previous two Cloverfield films (Cloverfield &10 Cloverfield Lane).
The Cloverfield Paradox in this way is all about the Stargate, an interdimensional portal. This was the main Super Bowl signal. The halftime show’s tesseract symbolism was merely the opening act. Twisted, but we can easily track these signals here on Super Torch Ritual thanks to our acute awareness of the active and constantly evolving multicontextual patterns underlying key world events. We more or less know what to look for and where to look and in what context. That gives us a big edge.
In fact, there would have been an additional “ah ha!” moment in The Cloverfield Paradox had it not been cut from the movie. In a recent interview J.J. Abrams, the master mind behind the Cloverfield universe, revealed he wanted a truck (from 10 Cloverfield Lane) floating around the space station as an Easter egg. Apparently it was deemed too weird and got deleted. Too bad because it would have been a perfect foreshadowing of the Tesla Roadster…

…launched on the Falcon Heavy just two days after the Super Bowl! It would have been perfect especially since the Roadster and the whole Falcon Heavy mission were imbued with their own interdimensional, “Stargate” symbolism.

During the spacewalk sequence and all this debris is flying around,” said Abrams. “There was a truck that was going around. And it was from 10 Cloverfield Lane, it was Stambler’s truck. But it was one of those things that once again, some people called it out as being too crazy, I loved it, because I thought it was just so bonkers, but some people felt it was too distracting, I thought it was amazing.
Not that we needed any such Easter egg to connect the dots properly. We knew the “Stargate” theme would be expressed via the Super Bowl, and boom there it was.
The use of Cloverfield as a carrier for this signal is also an unmistakable confirmation that our decoding of the original Cloverfield (2008) is correct.

Basically “6:18” was the hidden message there. (Yes, we were already discussing “6:18” back in 2008.) Let me explain…
“618” as you know is a highly significant multicontextual signal recently supercharged by the Great American Total Solar Eclipse, peaking over area code 618, as discussed in Threshold 618 – American Eclipse. It implies interdimensionality (“crossing the threshold”), dream world, underworld, time travel, Deep Impact, Judgment, and other such heavy concepts. It also means “wake up”.

You won’t find “6:18” anywhere in the original Cloverfield. But it is unmistakably implied, with precision. Here is how:
In Cloverfield most of the action takes place on May 22-23 except for the opening and ending sequences during which we are shown earlier, peaceful video footage from April 27 with the time stamp “6:17 pm”. Rather than the main story, it is these short segments that matter more.

“April 27” is a pentagonal date whispering “Stargate” or interdimensionality…

…encouraging us to view “6:17 pm” as an allusion to “6:18”.
“6:17” also appears in one of the episodes of “Fringe“, a TV show created by J.J. Abrams all about alternate realities, aired a little over a year after the release of Cloverfield:

As you can see “6:17” is mentioned multiple times in a conversation about waking up. Remember, “6:18” is often used as a dream/reality threshold marker. This is clearly a J.J. Abrams Easter egg.
But why one minute before “6:18”? The answer to this question will turn things upside down. And it’s all in how Cloverfield “ends”…
It’s the morning of May 23rd and the two main characters are in Central Park exhausted and hiding under a bridge. They are trying to evade a Godzilla-like huge kaiju monster and also military bombs raining down all around them. The situation is getting dire and they can sense the end is near for them. In great distress they decide to record their final words (video clip), but before they can finish a bomb explodes nearby and the video goes dark. The video then reverts back to the previously taped footage from April 27 with the time code “6:17“. The movie abruptly ends there. Several seconds of blackness. Credits begin to roll. And because there was no introduction at the beginning, which is highly unusual, the title “Cloverfield” appears here for the first time at the ending as if the film is about to begin…

That’s how Cloverfield ends. Very weird. Back in 2008 it made me ask: Is the movie’s ending really the beginning? Is the time running backwards?
Check out the highly abnormal order of the credits displayed one by one immediately following the April 27 video footage:
Directed by Matt Reeves
Written by Drew Goddard
Produced by J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk
[etc. etc…]
“Cloverfield” [movie title]
Paramount Pictures Presents
A Bad Robot Production
[rolling credits & music begin]
That’s not natural. At the very least the last three items (highlighted) are clearly out of order. The title would normally come after the other two items i.e. “Paramount Pictures Presents” and “A Bad Robot Production”. Basically, the whole order is reversed. Combine this with the fact that the title and the main credits are usually shown at the beginning of a movie instead of at the end like in Cloverfield, the implication becomes unavoidable: Time is reversed in Cloverfield.
So now we wonder: What is the time of Cloverfield‘s hidden “beginning” at the end? (The beginning would be the moment the movie title shows up or technically when the title disappears, to be consistent with the time-reversed context.)
This is where the “6:17 pm” time stamp comes in. It gives us a temporal anchor to measure time from during the ending sequence (here is the video clip again). Specifically, we can start counting time from the moment the peaceful “April 27 6:17 pm” video starts. (Note: The video clip above ends before the credits.)
A stopwatch starting right at the beginning of the sequence will give you the following data (hh:mm:ss):
- 00:00:00 Start of final scene (“April 27 6:17 pm”)
- 00:00:27 End of final scene
- 00:01:55 “Cloverfield” title appears
- 00:02:00 Title disappears (at the end of 2:00 or at the beginning of 2:01)
.
Using this data we can do simple calculations to extend forward the April 27 video clock beyond the “6:17” and beyond the final scene, into the credit segment. Here is what we end up with:
- 06:17:00 Start of final scene (“April 27 6:17 pm”)
- 06:17:44 End of final scene
- 06:18:55 “Cloverfield” title appears
- 06:19:00 “Cloverfield” title disappears
.
Boom! There it is. The movie “begins” right at “6:18”!
Remember, the time is reversed. Therefore the start of the minute duration of “6:18 pm” is not “6:18:00” but “6:19:00” (or “6:18:59”). That’s precisely when the “Cloverfield” title disappears.
After discovering this I just knew Cloverfield was one of the “6:18” movies, pertinent to all things “interdimensional” and “Stargate”.
10 years later, The Cloverfield Paradox as part of the 2018 Super Bowl ritual communication confirmed this. And, believe it or not, within The Cloverfield Paradox itself can be found a clear acknowledgement of the “6:17/6:18” code!
Let me show you…
First, there is a very sneaky Easter egg right at the beginning of the “April 27 6:17 pm” video footage we just analyzed. A satellite is shown falling into the ocean:

[source]
At the very end of The Cloverfield Paradox we see a very similar thing happening as the survivors of the space station plunge back into the Earth in a little spacecraft.

Now keep in mind, this movie was released on Netflix. And Netflix’s user interface by default displays the remaining duration of the movie being streamed. That means the time counter you’d see while watching The Cloverfield Paradox or any other movie on Netflix is counted backwards from the end of the movie. In other words, reversed time, like the hidden design of the original Cloverfield.
And guess what the time counter says when the spacecraft from the space station is shown falling down from the sky just like the Easter egg satellite in the original Cloverfield?
You guessed it: 6:18-6:17!

The spacecraft disappears into the thick lower clouds by “6:13″…

…followed by a sudden appearance of a humongous monster around “6:08”.

Then the movie ends.

Yup, you can’t make this stuff up. This is all true and verifiable. The Force is strong with this one.
It doesn’t matter that The Cloverfield Paradox was not well received. That only concerns the movie’s surface story which is actually secondary. The movie’s real raison d’être is well hidden and not for the masses. We are a bit different from the masses here on Super Torch Ritual. We know the significance of “6:18″…
One of the implications of “6:18” is a “time loop” and time travel…

February 2nd Groundhog Day, just two days before the Super Bowl, naturally resonated with it…

[Groundhog Day (1993)]
…accompanied by the Paris Axe historique aligning with the sunrise.

You may recall that the Axe historique was a key component of this year’s Super Bowl “Stargate” symbolism as discussed in Part 1. The Axe historique is, if you recall, a “Stargate Axis”.

Now get ready for some mind-blowing additional revelations…
First, as reader Dave W. reminded me a while ago, there is a fairly recent time-loop movie called Edge of Tomorrow (2014) starring Tom Cruise. “Live, Die, Repeat” pretty much describes the story. Tom Cruise’s character lives through the same events over and over until he succeeds in his mission.

The climax takes place right on the Axe historique in Paris!
More specifically, Tom Cruise’s character finds the time-controlling alien hive queen “Omega” hiding under the Louvre glass pyramid at the eastern edge of the axis.

A few things here…
First: The alien monsters resonate with the monsters in Cloverfield.
Two: The combination of a pyramid, an underground hole, interdimensional/time distortion, and alien monsters sounds a lot like Pacific Rim discussed in our previous articles.
Feb 21 Interdimensional Breach
Feb 22 The Shape of Stargate

The fact that powered-exoskeleton battle suits are a prominent feature of Edge of Tomorrow also brings to mind the gigantic humanoid mechas (“Jaegers”) in Pacific Rim. Both are used to fight the alien monsters.

Third: “Pyramid” means “fire in the middle” which resonates with Hawaii being at the middle of the Ring of Fire or Pacific Rim. Along with the Ring of Fire the island of Hawaii has been a key motif this year.

Forth: As already discussed in The Grail Stargate Code (Feb 4), Dan Brown’s The Da Vince Code tells us the final resting place of the Holy Grail in the form of the body of Mary Magdalene is under the Louvre’s (inverted) glass pyramid.

And just as The Da Vinci Code deals with the “holy blood” of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, in Edge of Tomorrow the alien blood enables Tom Cruise’s character to travel back in time again and again.
Now…
In The Cloverfield Paradox a particle accelerator causes an interdimensional jump.

And in Edge of Tomorrow the source of its time jumps/loops is the “Omega” alien queen hiding under the Louvre glass pyramid.

Well, guess what? There is a particle accelerator directly under the Louvre glass pyramid! No joke, it’s there. It’s called AGLAE (Accélérateur Grand Louvre d’analyse élémentaire):

In a basement 15 meters below the towering glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum in Paris sits a piece of work the curators have no plans to display: the museum’s particle accelerator.
This isn’t a Dan Brown novel. The Accélérateur Grand Louvre d’analyse élémentaire is real and has been a part of the museum since 1988.
Researchers use AGLAE’s beams of protons and alpha particles to find out what artifacts are made of and to verify their authenticity. The amounts and combinations of elements an object contains can serve as a fingerprint hinting at where minerals were mined and when an item was made. […]

You really can’t make this stuff up. And this is in addition to another particle accelerator – the most powerful one in the world – Paris is connected to via its Champ de Mars axis (where the Eiffel Tower stands) which happens to be precisely aligned with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN:

Dizzy yet? I am. Let’s stop here, for now.
